Techx4u runs security operations for you from our SOC delivery centre in Kandy, Sri Lanka, with contracts held through our Albuquerque, New Mexico office. What a managed security services provider does
An MSSP takes day-to-day responsibility for your security operations: watching the alerts your tools generate, separating the real attacks from the false alarms, and acting on them. It also keeps the defences themselves healthy, so agents stay installed, policies stay enforced and known vulnerabilities are closed.

How our 24/7 coverage works
Nights, weekends and public holidays are covered by Techx4u's own internal team, not an outsourced answering service. Engineers work from our Kandy, Sri Lanka operations centre and our Albuquerque, New Mexico office, so there is always someone on shift who knows your environment.
Security monitoring (MDR / SOC) is delivered jointly by Techx4u and a specialist MDR partner. We say so openly because you should know exactly who is involved in protecting your environment.
Initial-response targets: P1 (critical) within 15 minutes and P2 (high) within 30 minutes. Both are written into your service agreement.
MSSP vs MSP: what is the difference?
A managed service provider (MSP) keeps IT running: users, devices, servers, networks and Microsoft 365. A managed security services provider (MSSP) focuses on protecting them: detection, response, vulnerability management and security reporting.
Techx4u does both. Clients with their own IT team often take managed security on its own; clients who outsource IT usually combine the two so one team owns uptime and security together.

Managed security is normally priced per user or per device per month, depending on how many endpoints, identities and cloud services are covered and which services are included. We scope against your actual environment and give you a fixed monthly figure before any work begins.

Yes. Monitoring and response are delivered remotely, so we support clients across North America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and Latin America, with contracts through our US office or our Sri Lanka office.
