Frequently asked questions
- Isn't Microsoft 365 already backed up?
- Microsoft operates under a shared responsibility model: they guarantee service availability, you remain responsible for your data. Retention is limited and does not protect against malicious deletion or long-dwell compromise. A dedicated 365 backup is strongly recommended.
- How often do you test restores?
- At minimum quarterly for critical systems, with a full DR rehearsal annually. Test results are documented and shared with you.
