Overview
Most Microsoft 365 data loss is caused by people deleting or overwriting content. Deleted items are removed after a limited retention period, and archiving or litigation hold does not give you a quick way to put content back exactly as it was. Without a backup, restoring a single file can take hours of engineer time.
Cloud Backup protects every Microsoft 365 workload, including Entra ID objects, in Azure storage with no data caps or retention limits. Snap Search finds lost data in seconds, and restores can be bulk, granular, point-in-time or cross-account, with Teams and SharePoint structures preserved.
New users are protected automatically through Entra ID group membership, and leavers are removed per policy. Techx4u runs the service for you: monitoring backup health, handling restore requests, and reporting on protection each month.

Yes. ConnectWise acquired SkyKick, and SkyKick Cloud Backup continues as ConnectWise Cloud Backup, with added protection for Teams, Planner and Entra ID.
How often is Microsoft 365 data backed up?
Up to six times a day. We usually set high-change teams such as finance and sales to the maximum and use fewer daily snapshots for others, depending on how much data you could afford to re-create.
How is Cloud Backup licensed?
Per protected Microsoft 365 user, with storage included. There are no data caps, retention limits or overage charges, so the monthly cost is predictable.
