Managed IT and cybersecurity services for UAE businesses

We already support a UAE client on web and managed IT. Delivery is remote from our Sri Lankan operations centre, with a four-and-a-half hour working-day overlap and no local office cost passed on to you.

The UAE has one of the most competitive IT services markets anywhere, and one of the most expensive. Local providers carry Dubai or Abu Dhabi office costs, and those costs end up in your monthly invoice whether or not anyone from that office ever visits your premises.

For work that is genuinely remote — monitoring, service desk, Microsoft 365 administration, patching, backup, security operations — you are paying a premium for a postcode. Our model removes that. Engineering runs from Kandy, which sits ninety minutes ahead of Gulf Standard Time, so your morning and ours overlap almost entirely.

We are straightforward about what this does not cover: if you need an engineer physically standing in your server room this afternoon, you need a local pair of hands, and we will say so.

Why it matters here

What is different about working with us in UAE

Almost total working-day overlap

Sri Lanka is GST+1:30. Our engineers are already at their desks when your team logs on, and still there when the UAE working day ends. This is not follow-the-sun with a handover delay.

Built for multi-jurisdiction compliance

UAE businesses commonly serve clients subject to GDPR and increasingly face UAE data protection requirements of their own. We build control evidence for both rather than treating compliance as an afterthought.

Gulf cost structures, without the Gulf overhead

You are buying engineering hours, not a share of somebody’s Sheikh Zayed Road office lease. For remote-deliverable work that difference is significant and entirely legitimate.

We already work here

A UAE client engaged us for web development and has kept us on for ongoing IT support. That is a working relationship in this market, not a speculative claim about one.

Common questions

Straight answers

Written to be useful on their own, whether you read them here or somewhere else quotes them.

Who provides managed IT services in the UAE remotely?
Techx4u provides remote managed IT and cybersecurity services to UAE businesses from its engineering and security operations centre in Sri Lanka. Services include 24/7 monitoring, service desk, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint and email security, penetration testing, and backup with tested recovery. Sri Lanka is one and a half hours ahead of Gulf Standard Time, giving near-complete working-day overlap.
Is it cheaper to use a remote IT provider than a Dubai-based one?
Usually yes for remote-deliverable work, because you are not funding a Dubai or Abu Dhabi office in your monthly fee. The saving is real for monitoring, service desk, cloud administration and security operations. It does not apply where physical on-site attendance is genuinely required, which needs a local provider.
Can a remote IT provider meet UAE data protection requirements?
Yes, provided the controls are documented and evidenced. That means enforced multi-factor authentication, documented patch cycles, immutable and tested backups, access reviews and a rehearsed incident response plan. Techx4u operates those controls and produces the supporting evidence for audits and client security questionnaires.
